Bunny Ear Beanie

Alright, so this one is pretty much a fail. I got bored last night and started a beanie, then I thought it would be cute to have bunny ears but my lack of attention left me with this..

I do think it's kind of cute but the ears are small and I just didn't put enough time or thought into it. I suppose if I slipped some cardboard between the ear flap it would stand better. I also didn't think about what I wanted to really do until I had a beanie that was purple almost finished.

Does anyone have any good crochet ideas?! I love to crochet but I get bored with blankets. I made my nephew a blue beanie with elephant ears last winter...if only I could find the picture...
