Free glasses from Coastal Contacts

Tomorrow Coastal Contacts is offering 10,000 pairs of free eyeglasses at 12 (noon) EDT and all you will pay is shipping.

First, go to the Coastal Contacts Facebook page and click "like". On the left side of the page open the tab 'Free Glasses!" and get your code. The directions say they recommend you pick out a couple pairs of glasses before the giveaway in case the pair you have chosen is sold out. You could head to Coastal Contacts now and pick out a couple pairs you're interested in. Tomorrow at noon pick your pair of eyeglasses checkout and add the promo code available on their Facebook page.

I was really excited about this giveaway, since I don't wear glasses I haven't need any but DB does and he just saw the eye doc. Sadly, he decided for the first time in his life he would like contacts and while I could have still tried to snag him a pair he has not received his prescription because he's in the trial phase of contacts. While I will be waiting until the next time this awesome giveaway hits the net I hope that many of you are able to get the deal!! I have read in different places that the shipping isn't normally anymore than $20, if you get in on this deal please let me know for sure if the shipping and handling was reasonable enough!!

I hope everyone is having a great week and good luck if you try to get your own pair of free glasses!!!

In my mailbox

I was so excited to find a large package hanging out with a small package in my mailbox this afternoon! It's always fun to open up your free samples or things you have won from giveaways. '

I had nearly forgotten I won the Tide Stain Release a couple weeks ago at one of their Facebook giveaways and  the small eos lotion last week. I especially love that Tide advertises on their Facebook that it's a 'sample' and they send you a full sized product!! I also signed up for the free Yoplait yogurt cup a couple weeks ago. My mailbox was full today...maybe I  will have the same results tomorrow!

Grocery deals today

DB and I ran to Giant Eagle to get some grocery deals done today. For $23.92 this is what we got, Charmin 12 roll Basic (we were down to our last roll last night), 4 Miracle Whips, 2 jars of Vlasic pickles, 2 boxes of Stove top, 2 pepperidge farms frozen cakes and 8 Edy's smoothie/shakes, we also got 2 quarts of strawberries. I am pretty happy with the deals we were able to find for this week.

Have you tried the Edy's shakes? They are delicious! DB wanted shakes and I opted for the smoothies...we each had one for our lunch and they are amazing!

I hope everyone is getting off to a great start to their weekend!

Great deal on Hasbro games!

DB and I have been looking around and around for birthday gifts for my nephew and there are some really great deals out there with the Hasbro coupons floating around!

We picked up Gator Golf for $12, it's on rollback at Walmart for $15 with a $3 coupon in the papers you can also print Here. I know it's not the best of deals but he will be 3 so the better deals weren't fitting for him but that doesn't make them any less awesome!

Walmart also has Toy Story 3 Operation on rollback for $5 and you can get coupons Here and/or Here for $3 off making this game $2. I know quite a few people like to shop early for Christmas and birthdays as well as have a few things they got a great deal with on hand for birthday parties and these are perfect for that!

Candy Land is also on rollback for $5 and there is a $2 coupon for it, $3 is still a really decent deal! You can get that coupon Here. I didn't see that it was available in both places but I could have easily overlooked it, if someone does find it please let me know and I will quickly get that added onto here! I apologize about the pictures they were quick pics from my really old cell phone. I hope everyone is having a great day and enjoys these incredible deals!

Update!

I seem to have pretty well fallen off the map the last couple of months and much like blogging I truly want to get back into my everyday everything! It's been a very rough couple a months and while we've had a hard time keeping our heads held high I am quickly recovering and getting back into my groove.

Spring is certainly come and go right now..yesterday it was nearly 80 degrees in my house and today it's a mere 64. I'm excited my plants have begun to pop up in the garden and we have tomato and pepper plants ready to be transplanted outside. We started purging junk and spring cleaning over the weekend and have plenty left to do. One of my favorite things to do is go through what we don't use and get rid of it! I was quite proud of DB, as he has a harder time letting go, that he actually went through totes of old computer parts he was holding onto and decided what could finally go (it only took 3 years of my nagging and who knows how long since he's had them). The closet is close to empty and our winter clothes are stored away until fall, rooms are being rearranged and everything needs scrubbed. I hope you all are able to enjoy your spring weather and perhaps your cleaning as well!

Grocery Deals

I'm pretty excited about some deals we got done tonight. I had quite a few freebie coupons piled up and I started to feel better today so I figured we would venture out for a bit. Things have been less than stellar here but they are picking up so we ran to Giant Eagle to see what we could get a good deal on and this is what we found.

I had coupons for free Excedrin that came in the mail. The bag of Halls was from an instant win game and the Bagel Thins are from BzzAgent. The Luden's coupons were in last weekends SmartSource for .55/1 and they were on sale at Giant Eagle this week for 1.29 making them .19 each after the coupons doubled. The Vitamin water was an exciting find at the store...they are on sale this week 4 for 5 and on the display was a tear pad for .55/1 making them just .15 each. The total came to 2.08...the poor kid ringing all of this up seemed to be pretty new and I think he was terrified he was going to make a mistake but everything went through and all was well!

I know it's not a lot but I haven't done a whole lot of anything in a while so I was pretty excited and wanted to share! Do you have a Giant Eagle? Check if you have the tear pad for .55/1 for the VitaminWater Zero, .15 each is definitely not a bad price! I hope everyone has a great start to their weekend!
